Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Escape Room Game Master software, website, or services (collectively, "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use our Services.

2. Description of Services

ERGM provides escape room management software including:

  • Multi-room game control dashboard
  • Visual rule builder for automation
  • ESP32 hardware controller integration
  • DMX512 lighting control
  • Event logging and monitoring

3. Software License

Upon purchase, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the ERGM software for your escape room business. This license is perpetual for the version purchased.

  • Permitted: Install on computers owned by your business
  • Permitted: Use across multiple rooms in one location
  • Not permitted: Resell, redistribute, or reverse engineer the software
  • Not permitted: Use the software to develop competing products

4. Payment and Refunds

Pricing is provided upon inquiry. All payments are due before software delivery.

  • We offer a 14-day evaluation period for qualified businesses
  • Refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis within 30 days of purchase
  • Hardware purchases (ESP32 controllers, etc.) are non-refundable once shipped

5. Support and Updates

We provide:

  • Email and WhatsApp support during business hours (GMT+3)
  • Software updates for 12 months from purchase date
  • Extended support plans available for renewal
  • Documentation and video tutorials

6. Hardware Disclaimer

ERGM integrates with third-party hardware including ESP32 microcontrollers, relay boards, and DMX interfaces. You are responsible for:

  • Safe installation of electrical components
  • Compliance with local electrical codes and regulations
  • Proper handling of magnetic locks and high-voltage devices
  • Securing physical hardware against tampering

We strongly recommend professional installation for high-voltage components.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Focusq and ERGM shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Loss of profits, revenue, or business opportunities
  • Hardware failures or property damage
  • Game downtime during critical business hours

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the software.

8. Warranty Disclaimer

The software is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the software will be error-free or uninterrupted.

9. Intellectual Property

All content, code, designs, and materials on ergm.app and in the ERGM software are the property of Focusq. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our intellectual property without written permission.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to our Services immediately for:

  • Violation of these terms
  • Fraudulent or illegal activity
  • Non-payment of fees

Upon termination, your license to use the software ends immediately.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Qatar. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Doha, Qatar.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of our Services after changes constitutes acceptance.
